Daemons fail when they have to play against a shooty army. You deepstrike nearby and die in a hail of fire, OR you deepstrike far away, walk slowly across the board and die in a hail of fire.

Just to make this clear, This list is a hail of fire army.

If you want to beat it, give it some AV14 to play with. There is almost nothing there that will do serious damage to a Land Raider except for a pair of meltas in 1 unit and the Prism Cannon. Watching the game with Miguelsan, MIJ had real trouble with the Russ until his bikes could get round behind it.
Monoliths, Raiders and Russes will cause issues for this list.

well my Nurgle is 2 soul grinders or 2 plague hulks... and I will also throw in a few P-Drones for a fast Attack choice..    A Daemon Prince 2 heralds and one Great Unclean one and a lot of PBs... I reckon they could do some damage

I agree - AV14 is where this army struggles, although I would like to point out that I wasnt "having real trouble with the Russ", I was pointedly ignoring the Russ as it was doing nowt but bounce off my Wave Serpent.

Against an army with 2 plague hulks, 2 blight drones (do you even have blight drones???), daemon prince and a GUO, I reckon this army could hold its own. Yes, itd have troubles killing you, but youd have troubles killing it, too. War Walkers aside, everything in the army can move 24" a turn. For a non-mech CC army, thats gonna cause some issues. The hulks could shoot stuff, but that just means they get priorised as targets...

I do not have the FW model but I will be using 2 of my own creations... getting it all done will be a trick but when it is all done I reckon people will have a HELL of a time shifting it... I really need to get back to work on my models and get rid of the models I will not be using any time soon...
