It's not actually THAT secret. I'm doing my old 6mm Napoleonic figures up using the Black Powder format. While playing with a couple of brigades is nice (our 'mega' game had a division worth or so on each side) I want to see a couple of CORPS on the table! 28mm do look gorgeous, but being able to paint up a full army in an easy couple of months is nice too.

At least there are no pix of me out there on the interwebs wearing bunny ears and/or a skirt. Not that there's anything wrong with that, especially if you were born that way... :D :D :D

Today I assembled and undercoated an 11 man firelock storming party for ECW.
Assembled Farmer Maggot and his dogs, Grip, Fang and Wolf. The hobby is back. :D
Didn't get to clear my bench and couldn't resist starting on the ECW minis as I've been reading up on them this week.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Today I assembled about a dozen Russians including a heavy machine gun team and a heavy mortar. I would have put a howitzer together as well, but I don't have a base big enough for it. I'll have to go to Tokyu Hands sometime and pick up a suitable piece of wood.

Blocked in the colours for a ten man squad of Late War Germans. Gonna give them a wash tomorrow.

Attached 10 fallschirmjägers to their bases. Should be dry by tomorrow.

Undercoated an Sd.Kfz. 251.

Oi! I can categorical state there are no pics out there of me wearing a skirt. Bunny ears, otoh: guilty as charged.

This evening I did my best to paint the skin on my showgirl. Tbh there ain't much of it, but what there is is doing my nut in. Years of painting Eldar has left me incapable of painting natural looking skin :( The weird blob on her left eyeball isn't helping matters :( (tiny, tiny miscast - less than a mm, an fits nearly between her eyelid and eyeball. Makes doing the pupil nigh-on impossible, though.)

Last night I finished painting the new librarian model i got two days ago. Pics to follow today. Just couldn't put the fellow down until he was ready to join the group. Then I based the colors on my predator tank, based my ruins and put the putty into the river cracks on my terrain piece. Then realized that the storm shield arm I painted for my commander was painted in the wrong colors. Argh, the trouble with getting caught up in a conveyor like painting rhythm. Luckily there are four more arms as backups.

Here is the librarian and I tried out some lightning bolts. Cool but a pain in the butt to game with since ther is no easy way to take it off and put it on. Not sure if it works.

Nice!

Working today, but there's an M8 greyhound waiting for me at home.
