wow they are not giving up on the fine cast at all it looks here to stay and wow the Eldar are just full of fine cast... I have to say the Necrons do look just plain awesome

plus the biggest price cut in GW product ever.... 10 immortals used to be 13,000 yen now the will be like 9,000 for 10 and it looks like you can head swap them... I am stoked.

Well, they did change from metal to plastic, so if they got more expensive it would have led to even more GW hate.
The parts all look like they would fit the warrior bodies, though I think Immortals are a bit bigger and bulkier. Luckily for me I have a bunch of spare warrior bodies.

Yeah, I could probably have ordered them from overseas cheaper thanks to GW Direct, but Ikeda was offering a good discount (for Japanese prices) and I would like to see him succeed. My GW purchasing has been much reduced as of late so I figure I'll get a little GW stuff from him and use my UK account to spend money on other companies that DO allow international shipping. e.g. Warlord, Victrix, Perrys, Wyrd, Privateer Press.
And if you dont like it, that's no concern of mine.

for the record, I do, of course, wish Ikeda the best of luck. He's a great guy and I genuinely hope his shop does well. It's all a bit academic, but if I (hypothetically) was in Nagoya regularly, I would most likely be buying bits and bobs and things from him on a fairly regular basis. What I disaprove of (as you well know) is buying stuff from GW at all. If Ikeda stocked non-GW stuff (does he? I dont think Ive ever asked that question.) I would be far more likely to get stuff from him. Does he have an online store, btw? Might be worth doing, that.

What I disaprove of (as you well know) is buying stuff from GW at all.
