The GW website often states which base minis come with, if you need to check. :D
This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 67 components and a large oval base...

woke up early this morning and been painting my gatormen witch doctors. trying to add a bit of voodoo so I researched shrunken heads. had a great idea but after spilling a pot of thamar black, black ink, and purple yogurt, I think I'll abbandon that idea.

@Spev - but nae! No big beasties being bought by me. Vossy is selling off his skaven cheap and I saw a golden opportunity to get the HPA (Hell Pit Abomination), which is a model I rather like. It is a big beastie, but it looks nasty and skavenoid, and I have a cunning plan to convert it into a nurgle maulerfiend. It was very much a case of "hey! Cheap mini that I want. How can I use it? I know - maulerfiend!"

So, be still thy beating heart. No money is being sent in the direction of the Evil Empire. In fact, I'm paying vossy with Hordes minis, which I bought specifically for the purpose. So, my acquisition of this HPA actually directly funded PP. Feel better now?

People keep telling me the dinobot comes on "a large oval base". I get that. My question is: is the aforementioned base the same as a flyer base or not? I've never seen any of their new big robot kits in the flesh, so I don't know how big they are. I do, however, have a flyer base I could use as a template. I would assume they are the same thing, but if not it'd be a bit of a pisser.

*edit* never mind. I just noticed AGP included a critical "yep" at the start of his last post. Much obliged, sir :)

Today I'm doing some conversion work on my plasma gunners count as. Why the hell I glue them so thoroughly?

Also, have a look on GW's website; how many oval bases do you see there? :)

Oval is oval. It's hard to tell scale without a point of reference. Which I now have. Thank y'all kindly :)

I think what AGP was getting at is that GW only do one size of oval base.
