I have one infinity mini (a hexus sniper). I got her with the intent of a head-swap archon proxy, but as Prim says, she's way too slender to use with GW minis. Couldn't speak for the other infinity models, mind you, and she is an ace mini regardless. Looking forward to painting her, when I feel appropriately cyber.

I am really starting to get sold on these Hawk Wargames minis. It will all depend on the price of the models, as well as to a lesser extent the rules for the system, but damn dude, these are all pretty shit hot minis. Not 40k, and not warmachine, either. Shiny shiny sci fi all the way, so far as I can see.

Anybody else tempted? Even just a little bit?

The rules are irrelevant to an extent - there's always Tomorrow's War or Future War Commander - but I'm sold on the minis. He's got plans for a range of scenery, but there's a huge range of Japanese N-gauge model railway scenery that'll be suitable too.

Stop talking about it darn you!
They are lovely minis, but right now there are so many things on my to do list..... Plus I said I wasn't buying any new minis this year.
But yes, I am tempted.

does anybody have any idea what these minis are going to cost? I'm assuming that at that scale one would need a fair number of minis to play with. Is it going to require a budget on the scale of 40k to buy into, or more of a malifaux sized commitment? Regardless, I'm likely to buy one or two minis just for painting, but if it's not too mental, I could be a player, too.

Given that everyone who has seen the minis has said "Gimme," I wonder if the maker will be able to meet all of the demand.

someone on the facebook page had suggested doing a kickstarter on it. Seems like a good idea to me. He still needs to sort out his production/shipping side of things, though.

The only other game I can think of at the moment in the same scale is Heavy Gear Blitz - there, a model roughly the same size as a 28mm human costs about $8 USD - rather pricey. On the other hand, Pendraken's 10mm sci fi infantry are 16p each, but they're a bit crap.

Right, Heavy Gear - I couldn't think of what other Sci-Fi game I knew in 10mm.

(That's another that's been tempting me for a while. I just have a weakness for giant stompy robots.)
