as for me, madamadadesu...
Recently, Ive been averaging 15mins painting time a day. Life just wont leave me alone :( And its all stuff that is completely, 100% unavoidable. Oh, for just a coupla days peace and quiet :(

Well done prime hats off it has been hard on you I am sure.

@ MIJ : So Prime wants you to get sacked devorsed or maybe even deported. Just to have fully painted army. My advice MIJ, you may have to paint on your days off. If you get up at the crack of dawn you can do it. I have zero time this week but I am sure I will be ready.

Well my last shipment of minis won't arrive until after GW and it'll be missing a key component. So I'm going to have to do a numbers game and figure out a balanced list making do with what I got.

@Voss: Whaddya need? I have Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Nurgle Daemons if you need to borrow something.

@The Madmiral: Is there something wrong with your eyes? You seemed to have missed the three big smileys at the end of Prim's post.

@MIJ: Don't rush whatever you do. Your adoring fans can wait a little bit longer, I'm sure. Better to do them right than rush and do a half-ar*ed job.

you may have to paint on your days off.
what's a 'day off' ? I don't understand... :?
If you get up at the crack of dawn you can do it.
but i do get up at the crack of dawn. And then i go to work. Then I work all day, evil overseer behind me with a rusty catoninetails. then i come home, slave away over a hot stove to get dinner ready, mop, sweep and scrub every inch of floor, and then i make a sandwich for my lunch the next day. finally, i collapse in an exhausted heap, curled up next to the embers of the fire

*ok, some of the above is a lie, :D but I have been doing more stuff around the house since my wife started her new job. Basically, we now work the same hours in very similar jobs, so i figure its only reasonable that i pull my weight around the house too, no? This cuts in on my painting time, which is something that was in pretty short supply in the first place.

Recently for me, that means a day when I WASN'T painting. (being scarcely faster at it than M_i_J but nowhere near as good).

Sadly today isnt a day off. Bleeding reinforcements. Razzumfrazzumpaintinggrumble. :D :D

The reinforcements are on their way.
25mm Base Infantry - 12/0
60mm Base models - 0/2

The 25mm infantry are all painted and I just added some sand to their bases this evening, so I'll let them dry overnight and get them painted tomorrow. The two 60mm base models are nearing completion. So long as I can get a few hours in tomorrow I can finish everything with a day or two to spare. :D

Well, I painted today for about 14 hrs. No, really. And yet, my raiders, ravagers, reavers and hellions remain unfinished. How can this be? OK, granted, another coupla hours, maybe even 1 hr will see the raiders and ravagers finished (invisible crew notwithstanding - I'm doing the crew separately, after Nagoyahammer...) but still, for that length of time youd expect something to be finished.

This is why I hate batch painting. Its like...
work
work
work
still not done
work
work
work
still not done
work
work
work
everything is finished. Collapse in a heap until you have to do it again.

OK, right. Tomorrow: Finish vehicles (not inc. crew), and paint AT LEAST 3 hellions. 3, Dave. I mean it...
