Welcome to Mortgage Land! Enjoy your stay!

I finished up a simple little terrain piece and continued to think seriously about getting back to work on the Light Dragoons on the painting bench.

Spev - nice colours, mate. What yellows do you use? They look ideal for nomnomnom gold.

They do work very well for that mate.

I use a range that is sold at DIO world in Jusco Yokkaichi Kita.

Met the Madmiral and did a deal. I now own enough for 3 new mobs of boyz, half a dozen kanz and a battlewagon, all at a very reasonable price.
Watched 2 world cup games (perhaps the only two which were at a half-sensible time to watch), witnessed both England and Japan lose, which was not a good start. I only really take a vague interest in football for international matches like these, but it's a little disappointing. Perhaps some hobby tomorrow.

Me too; I've got enough 'stealer culstists now that I think there's a Hive Fleet approaching ...

One for after the house move, perhaps.

For that style of yellow, I'd go with a solid ochre-ish yellow for a basecoat, a brown wash and highlight with yellow and ivory. I use Vallejo Model Color Goldbrown, GW Seraphim Sepia then highlight with Sunburst Yellow then VMC Ivory.

Today I got a bit more paint on some IG and some Ashigaru. I also went to the local DIY shop and started pricing up some shelving racks.

That's pretty much it. My went like;

Leather brown
Ochre brown
Yellow
Lemon yellow
Brown wash

Those are not actual paint names, just approximations.

As AGP said, an Ivory is good as a final highlight to make it pop.
