@Spev, a garden, that's living the dream! My wife and I are talking about houses on and off, must show her those pics. My only criticism of the photos is that the before shot should have had mother and daughter sitting at the same table looking glum, as if something indefinable was missing from life. Then hey presto, the shrubs have filled their happy hearts as we see in the after pic.
I got hold of the ork codex. I was expecting dreadful horrors after the doomsday tears expressed online, but I was quite inspired by it.

Today I primed my Daemon Prince. It has been assembled for like 3 years without being touched, but now I think I'm going to get around painting it. Also I was able to sneak into Joshin and the other hobby store in search of a 6mm drill bit. (No luck.) I spent the rest of the day with my mother and wife. We also had dinner with my wife's parents.

Finished up a unit of trolls in 10mm, for Battle of Five Armies. (Goblins in the background for size comparison.)



Straightforward enough! No priming anytime soon, looks like, so I may actually get to those light dragoons that have been taunting me for so long. And/or make some 6mm buildings, since it looks like I'll need a lot of 'em by September.

The gaming lair was opened for it's first session (my apartment Friday nights). We played a great game set in Renaissance Italy called .......Oh crap I forget the name. It was fun though. Similar to 7 wonders.
