Yeah, you need an objective marker. It doesn't need to be as fancy as M_i_J's though. Anything is ok.

I need a quick, temporary solution to differentiate my unpainted guardsmen from the conscripts that use the same models. I'm thinking about small strips of colored tape put on the base; green for guardsmen, red for conscripts, something like that.

You aren't using those kick-ass Raging Heroines as Conscripts are you? Much too cool for gun fodder.

I could use them as the most elite stormtroopers and they'd still just be gun fodder in the Imperial Guard.
