What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Got my copy of 3rd Ed Warhammer Fantasy. I was surprised at what good condition its in. Even if I didn't intend to play it (but I do) it's a wonderful artifact, so many half remembered images...
Including a few awkwardly set up pics of Rick Priestley shopping for orc models, etc (a "how to buy miniatures" type photostory!). Glorious stuff.

Some mannequin. Been busy with uni stuff lately so not much to show. I need to fix the green bits, mind you. Smooth em out a bit. The only actual finished bit is the yellow - everything else needs work.

Re: What did you do today.
In between battling the Dentist and showing my Brother around Japan I haven't actually had that much hobby time. I did manage to get some paint on some more Kiwis for BA, continued work on my Neverborn for Malifaux and got a few more gladiators ready for Arena Rex (Who will be opening their full webstore sometime soon).
While most of the stuff is 90% done I did manage to put the finishing touches on this gal and give her the nickname she deserves after her last outing....

Hope the dentist chair was not a torture chair mate.
Great work on the Sherman, too!
On that note, I have put together:
- a daimler dingo
- 3 bren/universal carriers
- 16 paras
- 6 wellbike riders
To do:
- 2 Cromwell Tanks
- Medium mortar team
Not far to go before priming can start!
I'd like to start a German Pioniers Platoon, too. Having an Allied and an Axis option is a good goal.

Re: What did you do today.
Finished the mannequin:

Tbh I'm not very happy with it, but hey ho at least it's done. Also - hooray - my painted minis this year now outnumber my bought minis this year
The Mali crew is starting to come together, too:

Some of em anyway...

Still, progress is progress, and it's still less than a single 40k squad until I'm finished. Let's look on the bright side

I do love the mechanical sparkle raven.
I finally, finally put paint to brush again and got the base colors blocked out for some Germans. I want to have a squad done by the time my Guard get here next week and suck all my attention away.

Got in a bit of sculpting last night after a week or so of nothing. Rigged up a magnetized mounting for a Diggachick gunner and puttered around on this and that. Worked on a couple of other Diggaz. I wish I could put all the good bits together on one miniature. I'd have a winner.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Impressive work on the Sherman!
I've been focusing on painting all my aircraft first so I can get them on flight stems and make the army properly playable.
Here are the interceptors: I didn't quite match the base gray, but I am willing to call it close enough. I've also been playing with using the Tamiya inks for my washes instead of just thinning down my normal paints. I've been liking them because they don't damage by base coat work.
