I got some more paint on some late war Germans. I am painting them up in squads of five.

Late war skirmishers in winter gear.

I bought them from Artizan and they are a lot of fun to paint.

I have also just had 4 Japanese micro brewed beers and am making a serious dent in my Macallan 12 year old.

Great work on Leilath MIJ. Well done.

Recently I have been busy working on models for Bolt Action. I've posted my Germans up before, but having just finished a reasonably sized Russian starter force, I felt like showing off a little.
Sadly my camera work could use some more training, so here they are in all their blurry glory.

And the force as a whole.

I had a bit of spare time on friday so I threw some terrain together, a defensive position of some kind. I think all told it took about 1 hour to make it and then another hour or two to base, paint and flock it.

Cool! I'd be tempted to try Bolt Action some time.
Would it be possible for ww1? I'd like to do a Black Adder unit, complete with pencils in noses.
Ww2 I'd be tempted to do a Sean Connery unit or Home Guard.
I think Lovejoy had those.
Carry on Sergent that is all. :)

Sweet stuff Prim.

I worked today, been working every day for 2 weeks now, and now I finished putting together half of my krieg grenadiers.

I had the privilege of commanding Prim's Russians today! I am glad that I could lead them to victory and vodka! :)

Good looking stuff, Prim. I liked the figures when I saw a few at Joshin today. I also love the hill.

Recently I've been putting paint on some rarely used Paratrooper 75mm Pack Howitzers. Also I've been slowly finishing my LMG platoon.

Wah! 3 days and no posts in this thread.

Righty. Today I made and ate the World's Best Fajita. Now, I appreciate that there may be a few of you out there thinking "but nay. The world's best fajita is the one I made on (insert date here)" but I am of the opinion that we all have our own personal World's Best Fajita, and today was mine. It contained chicken marinaded in lime juice, jalapeño Tabasco and various fajita typey herbs, refried beans, sour cream, home made salsa, home made guacamole, some fried onions and red peppers, finished off with some sliced jalapeños, and washed down with a can of beer, drunk from a glass out of respect for there being food involved. It was, in short, the World's Best Fajita. May it rest in peace.

That is all.

I made plans to invite myself over to MiJ's house for the next World's Best Fajita Day. Just now.
