What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Today I finished my Mountains of Madness diorama.
Lots of fun to make and photograph.
I wanted them to tell a story and usually I would put a link to the slide show or use thumbnails but Photoshop had done away with those options. Apologies for the big pics.

Hope you like 'em.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Worked on Quad 2cm platoon. Got them primed and undercoated. Then I applied whitewash on one of them. They should be ready to take on Mike's Strumoviks!

Added browns to my orks. Should have a squad of ten snakebites by the end of next week.

Re: What did you do today.
I've been trying to fit square pegs in round holes - designing custom trays for battlefoam bags is pretty tricky. (at least, doing it such that the most efficient use is made of available space is.) The whole process is complicated by the fact that I have a bunch of unusually shaped minis (eg epidemious). Throw in the fact that i also have to account for models I don't even have yet (eg my as-yet unbuilt bikers) and it all gets a bit brain-melty.
Oh, I and worked a bit on Gutwobble the Undying, Zombie Lord of Chaos. All will be made clear soon enough, but suffice to say that he ain't called that because he's in charge of the zombies...
Oh, and I have a request for help: if anyone has a hellpit abomination model, is there any chance you could measure it for me, please? Length, breadth and height, please. Including the tail, spikey bits, upraised arms etc etc. I'm thinking to convert one as a maulerfiend, and am wondering if I can fit it in my case or not.

The hellpit measures 13cm tall at it's highest point, 13cm deep and 8.5cm wide.me_in_japan wrote:Oh, and I have a request for help: if anyone has a hellpit abomination model, is there any chance you could measure it for me, please? Of course, it's posed with arms and legs all over the place so your final product may vary a bit.

Caught up on an old video game that completely passed me by. Bioshock 1!
Wow. Possibly the best thing I've ever played. Welcome to the circus of value.

I have heard good things about it. It is kind of cool being out of the video game loop as you get to play all these cool games for a fraction of the price they originally cost.
I just bought Civ IV, Civ IV Colonization Expansion, Civ IV Warlord Expansion, and Civ IV Beyond the Sword Expansion for a wonderfully low $12!!!
Thank you Black Friday!

Helped my brother in-law move. Then I paid a visit to the in-laws. Now, I am back home finally and able to touch the paint onto some of the AA half-tracks.

Continued working on Romans, got a fair amount done. Now I just need to paint the eyes in, apply transfers to the shields and then I can start basing them.
I also did all my Christmas shopping, so at least that is out of the way.
