What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Nice.
I have also spent most of my painting time doing some Reaper minis. Hopefully I'll have something to show off soon.

Re: What did you do today.
Spent the evening assembling the starter fleets for the UCM and Scourge for Dropfleet, and idly paging through the rulebook. They're nice kits! Although I'm glad I'm going with Scourge and not UCM for my main fleet - lots of antennas and bits and bobs on the latter. And the bases are definitely over-engineered; in particular, it's a good thing they give you about three times as many damage pegs as you need, because they're going to get lost quick. I've already lost two in fact! (My dark gray carpet does me no favors here, I think.)
Tonight I'll get them primed up, and hopefully I'll get started in on the Scourge tomorrow.

Little time as per usual, but I did spend a few hours today assembling some battlesystems dungeon terrain which I bought a couple of weeks ago. I've backed their sci-fi II kickstarter (Aug 2017 arrival) but was taken with this sword and sorcery terrain too, so gave it a shot.
Overall, 5 put of 5 stars for me, its an excellent product, no question. Service in terms of prompt arrival very good too. There are some criticisms, but they are not serious enough to detract from the overall "bloody hell, this is ace" sense of satisfaction- however, I'll mention them..some of the pieces need to be forcibly pushed into place - tends to be on the add on items (sewer bridges, great hall staircase) , which seem to have been designed for the product as last minute freebies when it was a kickstarter. No doubt they were in more of a hurry than they were for the bread and butter bits like walls etc, which go together wonderfully. No big deal though. Considering the urban warfare stuff too.
Other than that, playing Shadowrun Returns a bit, thanks to a gog.com sale. Nice two action orientated combat system like Xcom, but with rpg element, so quite enjoyable.
Watching a lot of On Cinema... Which is a spoof comedy movie review show which Tim Heidecker does with Greg Turkington. Lots to be found on youtube. The show spins off into other things, which tend to reference each other a bit - their shambolic Oscar specials are fun, as are the appalling production (and other) values of the Decker show. Too convoluted to get into much here, but once the humour clicks, theres a lot of fun to be had.

I have their urban apocalypse stuff. Only used it once so far but pretty happy with it - although time will tell how durable it is...Lovejoy wrote:Little time as per usual, but I did spend a few hours today assembling some battlesystems dungeon terrain which I bought a couple of weeks ago. I got in a couple of games of Malifaux against Pikey today. In the first game, the Viktorias tore through Lillith and her crew of tiny demons. In the second, Lillith made sure to take down the Viks ASAP, both of them going down in a single hit to well timed Red Jokers.

Re: What did you do today.
Finished up my first few Scourge ships for Dropfleet - basically the same color scheme as my ground forces, so nothing too groundbreaking here.

Got a little bit sloppy on the wings on the cruiser there, so I'll have to touch that up, but basically I think it works. Nice models! Very pointy.

Completely useless for gaming but fun to paint.

@Tod- Those things are waaaay cool. You can almost seem them pulse and undulate.
And JR's half-nekkid post-apocalypic amazons reminded me that I have not posted any of mine in a while. And.....can't seem to get them to show up here. Maybe for the best. This way you won't have to explain my arm-less department store mannequin fetish to to anyone.
I also have been cobbling together some assorted Goblin-y Thugs and Thieves. I want to give Frostgrave a whirl one of these days.

@ Konrad
Frostgrave is great fun. Very similar to Hunters of Ruin. You could use your Mordheim in a box quite easily and just add snow. I'm going to be using the Short Wars goblins for some Frostgrave hopefully.
