Hello all,

I'm James from Tokyo. I was at NagoyaHammer earlier this year, and finally got around to making my way here to the forum.

I play pretty much every GW game, but my favourites are 40K, Gorkamorka, Warhammer Quest, and the Rogue Trader RPG.

My main armies are Eldar and Skaven, although here in Japan I've been playing Space Marines a lot. I also just started a Dark Elf army for 8th Ed.

Howdy James! welcome to the forums. Take a look around, and please feel free to jump into any conversation you fancy. Recently (i.e. the past month or so) people have been talking a lot about Warmachine/Hordes and Flames of War, but the GW games are still very much alive and kicking. So aye, take a wander, and stick yer oar in whenever you feel it necessary :D

Hello James,
As MiJ says, welcome to the forum. Feel free to post wherever you please and stay as long as you like.

I've been trying to work out if I can paint an army up in time for Hallo-War... and also if I could manage the trains to head down just for the day.

I'm also going to be in Nagoya in November for the JALT conference. Anyone else showing up to that? Maybe we could get a few games of something in on the side somewhere, or have a conference Blood Bowl league or something equally daft.

It doesnt have to be painted beyond 3 colours, but obviously its nicer if it is. (Plus you cant win the paint prize).

In that case, I'll probably be there with one of three things:

1) A somewhat old Skaven army (if I have no time at all)
2) A fully-painted Dark Elf army (if I think I'll have time to paint, and do)
2) An embarrassingly unpainted Dark Elf army (if I think I'll have time to paint, then turn out not to)

Oh, and either my PC or the forum is screwy, but I can't write PM's on here. Let me guess, it's me...
