*edit* nice PJ, btw :)
After a comment from Spevna, I think converting his staff into a microphone stand would also be appropriate.
Why not both? Mic stand and flipping the bird, maybe some rock and roll style accessories in green stuff while you're at it?

Hopefully everyone got through yesterday's weather without too many problems. We lost power for about an hour as the grid was switched off in my neighbourhood as engineers repaired some wires. We had advance warning, so it wasn't too bad.
I did manage to use the free time to do some work on some terrain for the Bolt Action Italy game this month. I also got a box of Gurkhas assembled along with some Vikings from Footsore Miniatures. Footsore do some very nice sculpts, I'll definitely be looking at them for my Dark Ages forces in the future.

I think I'm back on the horse after two consecutive evenings of painting. I resumed work on some horses with occasional breaks to base some infantry and assemble a second rank.

Well, I have done diddly squat painting related over the weekend. Instead I spent all my free time playing Shadowrun Returns, a crowd sourced game based on the Shadowrun RPG. It's really good, though a little basic in some areas. There are two sequels and a level editor for fan mods, so hopefully those will add a lot more content. :D

much fiddling with Magic, both real and Arena has been going on recently. Some miniature painting wil hopefully be forthcoming soon (tm). I did, to give myself a teensy bit of credit, start zenithal highlighting my titan and also did the Holomatic Spectral Chrome bits. While painting this mini, btw, I'm going to take the opportunity to say that as often as possible :D

I finished up a couple more units for my Stormcast:

Image

Knight-Zephyros, AKA "Dual-Wielding Blender Knight" (She's also fieldable as an even-more-blender-y named character, Neave Blacktalon, but I'll be using a stormcast host (read: marine chapter or whatever) to which she doesn't belong, so sad.

Image

Vanguard-Raptors, AKA "Those Crossbows Roll HOW Many Dice?"

And with them, I'm only one unit away from a legal 1000-point force (I'm short one unit of battleline infantry, which is lined up to get primed after I finish up my Tyranid kill team), and two units away from my pause-to-get-some-games-in point.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Fancy! In comparison, yesterday I painted 25 pairs of shoes. They were brown. :D
I also assembled some drones for Infinity, because what could be more fun than supergluing microscopically small pieces of metal to each other, my fingers, my workbench and a nearby box? Corvus Belli does nice sculpting, but the lack of instructions in their boxes doesn't really endear them to me.

@ToD - Nice work. So what is your next army going to be?

 I haven't got that far yet! Actually these guys are barely 1000 points (1250 once I paint up the models sitting in the spray booth) and I'd like to get to 1500 or 2000 before really leaving them be. But then I'll have 2 solid 40K armies and 1 solid and 1 weedy, gobliny AoS army, so I dunno! Storage space is starting to become a real concern with this sudden profusion of actual 28mm armies and terrain. :?

@TOD- "I want to rock and roll all night...and party every day...." Now you have to put a mike on that wizard. (insert KISS smiley here) will have to do
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

I haven't done a thing related to the hobby since Monday. It's not that I have nothing to do, I have lots, obviously. It's not that I lack motivation, I have a Bolt Action event coming up next week. But sadly, the stars have been out of alignment all week. Even this evening I'm unlikely to pick up a brush.
Fingers crossed I can get some time at the weekend.... :?
