Well, who woulda ever thunk it? Not me, certainly. I'm rather taken with Shadespire, as it happens. I've been playing it (well, GMing it, actually) with my kids, and it goes pretty smoothly. Also, when a game that professes to take half an hour per game actually, really does take half an hour, when playing with a 5 and 6 year old, then you know it's some pretty decent game design. I'm already eyeballing a new gang for it, and I aint even painted the two I have. Not much different there, then, I suppose...

What with having no weekends off in forever, I've really fallen off the hobby wagon over the past month or so - diddly-doodle painting done recently. I did prime the Nightvault stuff, and moved a squad of 5 Vanguard-Hunters to the painting table in the hopes that knowing I just need to finish these 5 dudes to have my full legal Stormcast army to start playing games with would motivate me, but... not yet!

A quick update from me, since I've been neglecting the hobby (again).
I moved to Tokyo today to start a new (much better paying) job, so my Kansai games are officially over.
Nagoya is also going to be a harder trip, but I should still be able to make Naghammer.

I also got engaged - yay! I'll be getting married in February, so between the new job and wedding preparations, I don't expect to have much time for painting any time soon, hah.
