Kill Teams have a roster of 20 models, so Penitent Engine aside they're all valid picks.

Six identical bolter Sisters is maybe not the wisest use of six roster slots but it is what it is until the new kits are out :)

Speaking of, I finished up the next two members of my Dusk Raiders kill team, Korelath and Morrslag:

And man, those Sisters do look nice.

Today I played my first ever game of This is Not a Test against Prim. I found the game to be very much to my liking, to be honest. It's very intuitive, and has some nice mechanics that reflect how things would probably be (for example, when you get shot at, you may well dive for cover. Seems reasonable, imho...). The way the turns work is a nice combination of IGYG and bloodbowl's turnover system, too. Plus the setting is cool :) I'd certainly play this again, happily.

I also played a few games of Magic with actual paper cards, and found that Prim is not to be taken lightly, either in Limited or Brawl, even when he doesn't know what half the cards do  Which probably says something about my ability to draft a decent deck, but hey ho... :?

So, many thanks to Prim for hosting, and for introducing me to the joys of post apocalyptics miniature gaming :D

More adventures in "I primed these but I want to use them tomorrow".

This is my team for Onsenhammer next weekend, so they probably deserved less of a rush job (particularly Ironsoul who is one of my favourite minis but suffers from dodgy priming here), but way better than showing up with unpainted minis to play with the Plamojuku crowd.

Speaking of which - Dave those Plague Marines continue to look awesome, looking forward to getting slaughtered by them.

@M_i_J - Glad you enjoyed the games.

@ToD - Those nurglies continue to look pustulantly magnificent.

@Jye - Hopefully the priming won't be so noticeable at tabletop distance, but the fact that the models are painted will be. Nice work!

I'd say those Condemnors look aces - sadly, a little bit of gritty priming is just one of those things (my Mournflight suffer from it) but that said, if you hadn't mentioned it and made me go looking for something I wouldn't have noticed. (A friendly suggestion - a hit of nuln oil or basilicanum grey on the steel metal bits will do wonders!)

Today I took a bit of a break from plague marines (although I did actually do some work on the last two, plus went to Yodobashi to pick up a box of poxwalkers) to get some work done on the variant Warlord weapons I've had kicking around for a bit. Finished up the power fist (file under: looks cool but I'll never use it because warlords are sloooooow) and got most of the work on the plasma cannons done. This might be because a recent windfall led me to order some other variant weapons from Forgeworld...

Ooh, they're pretty good in Kill Team. In particular they're good against the elite teams I like 😅

I assembled some extra Narmati Thralls for my Deepkin warband to use on my friend's 3D printed pirate ship scenery...
