@Primarch I like the weathered parts on the roof.

@ Primarch: Nice looking real estate. Like the roof and the size is impressive. (No mortgage, right? Paid in full?)

Re: What did you do today.
@Grantholomeu - I've oohed and aahed at that fantasy ship crew series at Volk's quite a few times. Nice job on him!
Having figured out how to do them (and thus gotten a bit bored) and not being in any particular hurry to finish, I put the rest of my Iron Golems on the back burner and prepped a couple Blackstone expansions for priming - the Dreaded Ambull and the plague marines and poxwalkers from No Respite.

Feel free to call me Dave!

@job: That is an awesome model. The 2 poor schmucks are really characterful. hmm black legion eh? I should really finish up my dark apostle
Re: What did you do today.

firstly some chibi minis from Arcadia Quest!
and also, with all the 40k hype, an Ultramarine. I've been experimenting with blend techniques for shinier armor.

Re: What did you do today.
@Grantholomeu - Thanks, the weathering was done with a sponge to give an irregular pattern to it.
@Job - It's all bought and paid for. Suitable for Waterloo through to Market Garden. Nice work on your evangelist.
@Balloonacorn - Go, go go! We're looking forward to seeing them on the table.
@ToD - Looking forward to seeing the Ambull too.
@Jus - Kawaii!! (And those chibi minis are cute too). Just kidding, the Ultramarine is indeed very shiny. I love the work you've put into the eyes of the Arcadia Quest figures. They look awesome.

Re: What did you do today.
@Jus- came across this the other day, another guy making shiny Ultramarines. Though, I think I like yours better. https://ironsleet.com/2020/04/20/the-long-form It's been mentioned here before, but Iron Sleet is full of all sorts of wonderful Blanchitsu grim-darkery. Though occasionally, sadly buried under too much mud and rust effect.....
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
