On plots most secret and foul.

I've had a couple of PMs so far from people regarding their objectives in the campaign and I want to try and clarify a few things.

Each player should have 2 objectives.

The first is their public goal. This can be as straightforward as you like. E.g. Capture a specific hex, defeat a specific foe. It would be best to phrase this in a more narrative style, preferably in the fiction section, rather than just saying "I will take Hex xx.yy" Regardless, I dont need a copy of it. Please post it publicly.

The second is their secret plot. The secret plot gives you access to some special power, secret weapon or magic item that was not meant to be wielded by mere mortals. What I want from you is information about what that power, weapon or item might be. Put on your best Bond villain accent, twirl your moustache and laugh menacingly. You can ask for anything your imagination can cook up. A horde of giant beasts at your command, a sword that can destroy entire towns in a single swipe, unlimited magical power or a warmachine that dwarfs anything yet seen on the battlefield. All these things (well, one of them anyway) can be yours for the taking. Just send me an idea of what it is you want and what you want it to do.

As for HOW the plot will be achieved, leave that up to me. I will set you some goals and stages to reach to actually complete it. Just remember that the greater the reward, the more challenging it will be to get it.

Folks will start to see PMs appearing in their inboxes in the near future containing info on how to fulfill your secret missions and what benefits they will bring once achieved. Each player will have 3 steps that they need to complete and different requirements for doing so. I am trying to tailor each set of objectives to match the info I was given on the background and to encourage movement on the map. (I.e. no-one will have a goal to sit still and dig in).
