Nagoya December Games Day: 12/23 at Lifelong Learning Center

Post by The Other Dave » Tue Nov 27, 2018 12:23 am

Hi everyone,

Sorry I missed posting a thread for November's games day - work has been pretty hellish for the past month or so for me. But, things are calmed down, it's the end of the year, and it's time for December's games day thread!

The location in December is the Nagoya Lifelong Learning Center ( https://goo.gl/maps/ehXTKrWb6Bw ) near Kamimaezu, from 9am to 4pm - we've had it there a couple times before. As per usual, it'll be 500 yen for the day. Parking is at a premium at this venue, so if you're planning on driving, plan on getting there early. They're also pretty strict about kicking us out of the room when our time is up, so lots of reasons to plan an early start!

For a change, and I know this is sad news for all of you, I should be there this month  and I'm planning on bringing Kill Team, and probably Shadespire if anyone's interested since the minis are in the same case - I haven't decided yet if I'm driving, which would be the deciding factor on bringing 40K or not.
Feel free to call me Dave!

I'll be there!
I'm planning on bringing along a little side project I have been working on. If anyone would like to give me a hand playtesting it, it would be appreciated. All you'll need is a few dice and a tape measure, I'll provide the rest.
The theme of the game is B-grade Action Movies. I have the first batch of minis almost done, so I'll try and get some pictures posted ASAP to give you some idea of what to expect.

I should be there, so I’m happy to help you play test. Did you also want to try some TinaT?

I'll give it a whirl, too.

Also, if someone could run me through a game or two of kill team, that would be great. :)

Looks like my dance card is full then.
@Kojibear and YS - Is the morning ok for you for my demo/playtest?
@YS - ...and the afternoon for TnT? Do you have terrain/dice/the rulebook with you?

I’ll be coming. I’m looking for small scale 40k/Bolt action/Black Powder.

I will be coming as well! 40k sounds good.

@Job - How about a morning game? I can bring either orks or marines as long as the game is small.
