And some gun turrets for 40K, Razorback/Whirlwind turrets mounted on Planetstrike accessories.

They are based on the FW Tarantula guns, which were FW Razorback/Whirlwind turrets on a firing platform.

You'll be seeing them in my army if you play me. The heavy bolter ones must always shoot the nearest enemy infantry in their front 90゚ arc. If there are no infantry in the arc they shoot the nearest enemy unit in their front arc. If there are no targets in the front arc they don't do anything. The missile launcher is a bit better, beinng able to choose it's target and shooting at aircraft with interceptor and skyfire.Konrad wrote:@Prim- So can we assume that we'll be seeing those gun turret on the Nagoyahammer tables? If more than one unit is the same distance, randomly resolve which unit is targeted."

IIRC, there's two firing modes for the Tarantulas - one shorter-ranged with a 360 degree fire arc, one longer with a 90 degree arc.Primarch wrote:You'll be seeing them in my army if you play me. My army rules can be downloaded for free from the FW website.

The rules for those 'static, immobile, unmoveable' guns are in the fast attack section. ???
I'll stick to the 90゚ one I think, the 360゚ firing mode might be useful, but the longer range is better in my view. (Note, I haven't used them yet).AndrewGPaul wrote:IIRC, there's two firing modes for the Tarantulas - one shorter-ranged with a 360 degree fire arc, one longer with a 90 degree arc.Primarch wrote:My army rules can be downloaded for free from the FW website.

Good shout on using those fortification turrets; might have to steal that.
Primarch wrote:@Spev - It looks better all clustered up. Shanty towns shouldn't have large spacious avenues and parks.
As for extras, some barricades made from old tyres, a scrap yard with broken down vehicles and a derelict factory would all fit your theme I reckon.
