Well, I spent all afternoon putting together 2 new crews for Malifaux.

First up, my Outcast Crew led by Viktoria and Viktoria.

Most of these models were no problem except for the Viktoria with 2 swords. Both of her hands are seperate peices from the model and needed to be pinned in place. The smallest drill bit and wire I have is almost the same width as her wrists which made things interesting.

Next up, my Showgirls Crew.

Both of the Mannequins (the models at each end) have individual arms which needed pinning as well since my attempt to just glue them on resulted in them breaking off as soon as I touched the model.

I also green stuff-ed (using Tamiya white stuff) some of the bases as the models wouldnt stand up straight as there was almost nothing to glue to the base beyond the tab itself. Hopefully the putty will hold them in place.

As much as I love Malifaux's models, they can be VERY fiddly at times. Maybe I should get a Lord Chompybits. I am sure that will be big and chunky.

absolutely blinking lovely!

I am really digging the colours on that chap (and very nice colour on the photo, too, btw)

by himself, he's a lovely model. An army painted like that, however, would be absolutely ace on a stick.

marvellous. Thats what space marines should look like :D

@Stu: wow nice work with the scarring on the convict with the shnazzy yellow pants and yes you should get lord chompy bits. I'm usually not the biggest fan of the malifaux minis but lord chompy bits is uber cool and its massive!

@fran: yerr! go blood angels! (at least I think he's a blood angel) Love the detail in the blood drops. Is that a terminator from the space hulk set? They are some fine looking figs, I'm almost tempted to get some myself, even if just the models to paint up as a showcase.
