Nice looking Nurgle tanks there Madmiral

I realize the following is bound to make you all sad inside but I have to agree with some of the other posters. They don't look particularly revolutionary to me either. And apart from the actual grot models and a couple of pieces of plasticard here and they they don't look very Grot-esque either. As I mentioned, the current colour scheme looks Nurgly.

Advice: As the Spev suggests, faux-Soviet slogans would be one way. White stripes/arrows, combined with Cyrillic-looking (you could write a few letters backwards, everything mis-spelt etc) Grot sayings.

You said you don't want to go too OTT with the gubbins etc but I think you have to at least somewhere near the top. pretty much everyone has said, more. We can't all be wrong.

P.S. If you keep up the good work M_I_J might include you in his list of recommended painters for when he is next out of town

I like the rust effect.

I still think they need some more colour to break it up. Red graffiti on the side of the tanks might do the trick.

I have done a pit of free hand on the tanks I need to post the updated versions... I will get on it...

The grots look good, but you might want to do their teeth in a different colour?
Other than that, they look cool. The GW minis off to the side dont really fit in very well with the soviet look though.

I know the GW models suck so bad next to the GCCP Grots... but they will have to join the revolushun for now...

As for the Teeth I am looking to do that Friday... all and all not bad for one weeks work... 45 models bases and all... I am happy with it...

I like em. If you pick out their teeth (and highlight em, or at least wash em), theyll look much more "finished". The guns would definitely benefit from being a different colour. Black/dryrbrushed silver/washed brown is the obvious choice, but how about a nice soviet red? Thatd draw the eye to em...

not sure but most guns in I have seen do not have any silver on them... most are black... red guns seem a bit too "be cool" for me... I am thinking about them but black with may be a bit better that the green... there ins not way in the world I am going to paint them a metal color... there are no military weapons that are metal colored in the CCCP so there will be none in my grot army...
