Wow, there are a lot of people coming!
I will bring a small Tau army and maybe my Warmachine guys, until 1 or 2 pm, as usual.

Thanks for the offer Admiral,
I dont mind spectating either, since a lot of people are going to play fantasy I will get many good chances to learn how it works too.

For everyone playing fantasy battle for the grand campaign on the day, what's the consensus on bringing lists with special characters? yay or nay?
I don't like to use special characters in my list if my opponent isn't using any, because some of them can be a little, you know....unsporting.

Well, as Wood Elves either have:jus wrote:For everyone playing fantasy battle for the grand campaign on the day, what's the consensus on bringing lists with special characters? yay or nay?

a.) Orion, whose points value means he cannot be in a game of 2000 pts...he isn't even that great...sigh...
b.) Two sisters whose only attacks are with one strength 3 bow that uses the smallest template and another bow that actually does no damage, just has a chance to stop a unit from moving...????....huh???...why would you bother???
I will never be fielding any special characters

But I don't know Jus, but I guess that is up to what army you are playing?

By the way, who is going to play who on the day?
Also, my wood elves will be available for one game after lunch

Bring two lists, one with and one without. That way you're sorted for whoever you play.jus wrote:For everyone playing fantasy battle for the grand campaign on the day, what's the consensus on bringing lists with special characters? yay or nay?

hmm sensible. Do I detect a hint of there being a special character in your list prim?Bring two lists, one with and one without. That way you're sorted for whoever you play.

good question. I've yet to have a decent win with my highelves, so I think I need more practice with them, but I think I might be bringing both vampire counts and high elves.By the way, who is going to play who on the day?
I'm hoping for maybe 3 games. I would like to play armies that I've never had a chance to play against so I'd like to give ToD and his goblin smurfs a game.
Prime's lizardmen or skaven if they come to the table
mikes beastmen if he brings them or Rob's chaos daemons.
I'll give kojibear a game, if there isn't anyone else to play. Since we've had 2 games already, you'd probably want to face off against something other than your fellow ancients.
All that and I still vote for a team game, if anyone else is interested.

I'm ready for all comers - I'm equally terrified of all the other armies, heh. I'd definitely be up for a game against jus. (Even though my army literally fears his - whee!)kojibear wrote:By the way, who is going to play who on the day?
Personally, I'd like to get a few standard games under my belt before taking part in a team game, but it looks like there'll be enough WFB'ing going on that my lack of participation won't keep it from happening.
(I just hope the movement trays I ordered arrive in time. If I have to ghetto together something out of cardboard and popsicle sticks, I will, though.)

The new one is not out till next week (as far as I know, anyway - at any rate, the one I ordered hasn't shipped or anything) so the old one.jus wrote:@Tod; Ok, how about the first game, bright and early when doors open?
