Hello all, I met some of you in Tsu a couple weeks back at the RPG gathering.

I'm Patrick and I am an RPGer first and foremost. I'm living in Toyohashi, Aichi at the moment and have been running a 3.5 D&D game for a while with some local guys and the occasional Call of Cthulhu game here and there.

I am interesting in running or playing in more RPGs so I'll be primarily in the RPG sections.

Welcome to the forums Patrick.
Please feel free to post wherever and whenever you like.

Hi there Pat,
I live in Toyohashi too. I'm definitely more of a wargamer than an RPGer but it's nice to know that there is at least one other (semi-) like minded person in the East Mikawa area :D

Hi guys,

My name's Becca and I live in Toyohashi, Aichi prefecture. I moved only a couple of months ago from America, so I haven't met many gamers yet. I pretty much stick to RPGs. I've played a lot of DnD and GURPS, plus some Shadowrun and Call of Cthulhu. I'm not a GM so I'm looking for games to join, one-shots or campaigns.

It's really great to see such a dedicated group of gamers here in Japan. Lucky for me Nagoya isn't far :D Thanks for putting up this forum, I really appreciate it.

Hi Becca and welcome to NagoyaHammer.
Whilst most of our players are into wargames, there are some RPG players around. In Nagoya there is a group that plays a variety of different games (currently d20 Modern, 7th Sea and Dark Heresy). There is also a small gaming group in Tsu that meets sometimes to play Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and Call of Cthulu, though Tsu is about 2 hours from Toyohashi by train. If your Japanese is up to it, there is also a monthly Japanese RPG group which plays lots of one-shot games.
There is also a gaming group in Toyohashi, though I dont know anyone in it apart from Shogunpat. You can find his introduction further up this page and send him a Private Message to get in touch with him.
Regards
Primarch (aka Stuart)

Hi there Becca,
I live in Toyohashi too. These days I don't play many RPGs, I'm more of a mini-wargamer. As the mighty Primarch said, ShogunPat is the guy to talk to (or PM).
Anyways, it's good to see someone else from the 'Hash on this forum.

Hey, I'm an American out in the middle of nowhere in northern Toyama-ken.

I've recently restarted 40k as a hobby after a long absence and dragged a friend into it . I played Biel-Tan Eldar in high school and am now assembling a DA Deathwing army, which I hope will be fully painted in time for us to come to Nagoyahammer!
(Actually, if I dont get lazy, my 750 pts. might be done this week!)

My compatriot and I started a blog about our gaming: http://inakadakka.wordpress.com/

I also am an RPG fiend, and currently run a Pathfinder game out here. And I have a sizable Magic card collection as well...
If you're ever out this way (for what reason, I can't possibly imagine) hit us up for some gaming :D

Welcome to the site Muttoneer, its always good to have more Unforgiven players around. As a fellow Deathwing player myself (Angels of Redemption)Im looking forward to seeing your army!

Feel free to offer your 2 cents in any of the threads. Despite appearances, we are a really friendly bunch. If you are ever in central Honshu, let us know and we will try to hook you up with a game or two. Tell your gaming friend about us as well.

Regards,
P.

He's planning on bringing his Tyranids along in May for the most unlikely tag-team ever!
