Rules Book
Re: Rules Book
It still irks me that, after buying both books and having all the v2 cards for my figures, they still refuse to tell me exactly how to play thedamn game unless I spend another 15 bucks. Sigh. I wouldn't make anything of it except that I play the Dreamer, which relies a lot on the finer points of the rules. In fact, some rulings that are important to the way that the dreamer activates have changed from the rulings on the forums and the new rulebook. Ah well. It's not going to stop me from playing the game or anything.

Re: Rules Book
Well, if you have both the real books and the pdf you should have all the rules covered. The only things missing are the missions and the examples.ennui wrote:It still irks me that, after buying both books and having all the v2 cards for my figures, they still refuse to tell me exactly how to play thedamn game unless I spend another 15 bucks. Is there something different between the v1 and v2 cards? How do you know which is which?

Re: Rules Book
The reason the new rule book came out is because of all the errata and changes to the rules that have happened over the past year. V2 cards have a v2 in the lower right corner. Also, lots of the schemes and strategies have been explained further, and I was hoping for more clear examples, something tht was sorely lacking before. Oh yeah, now there are rules for line of sight when shooting down from a building.
As much as I bitch about the rules, I really like the game. The way that each crew seems to work on it's own set of rules is both it's best and worst point, though.

Re: Rules Book
In that case I have all v1 cards.
I own both the current books and will be buying the new one as and when I have some spare cash as I would really like a small pocket sized book to take to the games with me rather than the bigger pair I already have.

Re: Rules Book
You can download the PDFs of every card in their v2 incarnation from the forums. I wonder if I should just order a book too. Where are you going to order it from?
