1 inch is how many cm again?
1 inch is how many cm again?
A little joke on all us 'mericans. We're big enough to take it I think. (And to take your damn metric system and shove it where the sun don't shine! Ha!) Even after 10+ years in Japan, I still think in inches and feet. I've lost Farenheit though. It's how hot today? 90? 95?
I used to love the old "Guess" barrage weapons in 40K, when you'd actually guess the distance. The Japanese guys would be amazed that I could say, "33 inches to the Havoc with the horns." and Boom! be right on target.

If we were meant to use the metric system we'd have ten fingers.
Feel free to call me Dave!

1 in = 2.5 cm
1ft= 30cm
1m=1.609km
F= (Cx1.8)+32
1kg=2.2 lbs.
1g=3.5l

I think it is 1"= 2.54 cm, hence once 1' = 30.4x cm.

HA! In England we use both systems. We get the weather news in Fahrenheit and Centigrade. We can buy pints of beer and litres of cola. I measure peoples dimensions in feet and inches, and driving distances in miles, but the length of objects in metres. Its great.

What Prim said
seriously, all motorway signs have 2 values for everything, and so do cookers and stuff like that.
