The casket looks nice. Deserves to be elevated during play as a centerpiece of the army. Then again it would bring every cannon shot to bear on it.

If that means that my sphinxes are left alone I would paint a bullseye on him.

I've got too much warhammer fantasy and 40k stuff. Made it a major stress factor to even choose something to paint. But with warmachine, I'm painting as I buy. So the pressure feels lighter and I feel more energetic to paint. It's a good feeling after so long of not painting and not wanting to paint.

Just when you decide to start a nice new project, someone comes along and says "Hey, I need a Primarch model for our Warhammer 30,000 game in Kuwana."
I did this model up for a friend of Dungeon Lord for some games played by DL, his friend, Badruck and myself on monday.

Over two games he beat up Angron twice and laid the smack down on Kharn the Betrayer for good measure. For myself, Russ took out Magnus in the first game, but got taken down after Magnus and Angron double teamed him in the second. (I blame it on not having a full sized Russ model to use, just the old school, short, skinny, 'Imperial Commander Leman Russ' figure and the Ragnar mini I proxied with).
Still Sanguinius did the Blood Angels proud and much fun was had by all. :D

That's a Blood Badger that is! A very rare animal kept as a pet only by the bravest of Blood Angels.

It's actually some kind of animal skin scarf I believe. Given that Sangy there is head and shoulders above a regular marine, I think it's meant to be a big cat of some description.

oh, dang and poot :(

looks like the Space Marine competition on CMoN has finally attracted the big guns. SkelletetS and Rusto have both entered orks  Leaves the likes of me eating their dust :( On the plus side, I hope I have at least learned something and raised my game :) havent finished orkychops yet, but still intend to get him done by the 24th. Wish me luck - here's hoping I break the 8.5 barrier (or hopefully at least get a better score than I've managed so far. 8.2 is my best to date.) :)

skel's http://www.coolminiornot.com/287934
rusto's http://www.coolminiornot.com/287821

So...far...out...of...reach

*edit* I'm not actually as depressed as this post makes out. I really do feel I've managed to improve a fair bit on this guy, and Skel seems to be a very nice chap who's more than willing to help out a newb. No idea about rusto - i dont think he speaks much english, mind you, so his silence is pretty excusable :)
