I like it too. Autumn colors are very classy.

I hope so. I really do love scones, especially with currants! :) A shame the scones in Japan are all dry and teeny tiny. Well, at least the ones I've had :(

making scones is easy, although those do look like particularly fine examples of the type. I can hit you up with a dead easy, dead good recipe if you'd like. All ingredients guaranteed available in Japan, microwave/regular combi oven is OK dokes for baking. (thats the kind of oven that combines the two. A straight microwave would not work.)

The last for September. I've got 35 points purchased and at the rate I am going, I'll need even more before the end of the month.

Which is precisely why I made scones, and not, say cakes or the like. :)

The fruit ones have raisins in them.

If you can do scones, you can do cakes :) It does rather beg the question though: You live in the land of Cake. Why not just buy em? Here, they claim to have cake, but it's really light, fluffy, not-enough-sugar-in-it fuwafuwa* disguised as cake :( making yer own is the only option. :(

I'm not knocking all Japanese food, here. Just the cake. It sucks. Sorry, but it does.

*real word. Means "light and fluffy not-enough-sugar-in-it"

@Voss,
Wow, you're really motoring through those units. I really need to get back to work on my Khadorans. :D

@M_i_J
Well, they call it cake, but really its just cream pushed into the shape of a cake. (much like starbuck's coffee is cream shaped like a cup of coffee). Now personally I like the faux-cakes they have here in Japan as I happen to like cream. I just chalk the fact that they are called cakes up to the tendency for Japanese English to get stuff terribly wrong at times.
