I have to say, MiJ, despite all your self-deprecation, from down here in the peanut gallery it does look like you're in the same league as those fellas. Part of it could just be that I like your painting style better, but that's one heck of an ork.

Well, as far as I can tell the voting has now closed for the Space Marine compo, and as I understand it the ork rankings stand thus:

1st (9.6) Butcher Pete by Pictster (Last year's German Slayer Sword winner)
2nd (8.9) ZkiVa la KakKola by Rusto (multiple Golden Daemon winner)
3rd (8.6) Mad Doc Howze by SkelletetS (multiple Golden Daemon winner)
4th (8.4) Evil Sunz Mad Orc Waaaghboss King by Jarhead (who, so far as I am aware, has not actually won a GD. This is clearly because he hasnt entered...
5th (8.1) Over the ruins etc. by ...er, me

I'm super happy about how it went, and to be placed so high amongst such, frankly, exalted company is bloomin marvellous.
