Mate, you need to get out more, you really do. :?
If he's going to say things like that, I really hope he doesn't.
Luckily he doesn't. :D

Very nice Delaques you've got there. Are you playing Necromunda at the moment or just painting them to take a break from something else? Either way, very cool looking skin-heads.

So far this month I have been working on some Scottish Infantry for my Waterloo army.

They are still very rough around the edges and I havent started on the tartan yet. My goal is to get these finished before the end of the month so that I can start on my artillery unit and commanders in November.

Nice paint job, Seb.

Oh, and I want to ask what you are doing for basing? Where are you getting your static grass and what do you use for gravel or sand?

Also I have the same question as Vos about Andrew's desert basing. I like the desert basing.

Colonel Voss and job, the bases are to match my boards. Old-school Snakebite Leather on one side, Goblin Green on the other. :) Primarch, I'm hoping to play some Necromunda in the near future.

Seb, very nice. Do you play a lot of Anima Tactics, or do you just paint the minis?

@Job
Thanks! For my bases I use;
Cork for bigger rocks.
Small grained sand from Toukyuu Hands for base ground.
And finally model train flock bought at Toukyuu Hands, you could probably buy all this for around 500 yen

@Andrew
Cheers, I don't play Anima Tactics and probably won't in the future either. I just use some of the miniatures that I like for Strange Aeons.
I especially like the job you did on the gangers skin, do you use any washes?

Have you checked out the "Community Edition" Necromunda rules by Anthony Case? They look very good.

@Badruck
Thanks, I had work. I wanted to go on Sunday but had to prioritise other things. Hope to see you at the next one, would like to try Cutlass sometime.

I've finally managed to kick off the shackles of Fallout 3, at least temporarily, and put (air)brush to mini. Not much so far, but I plan on doing him with a reddishorange top side and pale, pale white underside, with black splodges at the intersection.

I'm kinda aiming for this kind of colour scheme, eventually, once highlighting kicks in.

but less, y'know, dead-fishy.

What do y'all reckon, scheme-wise?
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

@M_i_J - You were able to stop playing FO3? :o Did your computer break? If not, that is an impressive feat. :lol:
What is that thing anyway and what are you planning to use it for? That would give us a better idea of colour schemes and what not. Honestly though, it looks like it should be painted up in more fleshy tones. Fleshy reddish brown on top and a pale pale fleshy white on the underside.
Thats just my opinion though. :D
