The beginnings of my Eternal Guard Unit. Sorry for the poor photos. Couldn't seem to get focus :(

Yeah, that colour scheme is working nicely.

I considered an orange/tan autumn look, but I think I'll go with something more "spring" with subdued greens. Gonna plan some flora-themed heraldry for my units to use on their banners as well.

@Koji - Are you planning a Vampire Counts army and not telling us about it? :D
The woodies are coming along nicely methinks. Keep up the good work.

With any luck I'll have some models to post up here before the weekend. It all depends on how long I can pull myself away from Fallout 3/Rome: Total War. :D

YES!!!! I managed to resist the urge to play games and instead got some painting and basing done.
First of all, my 4th Kings Own Regiment of Foot 1st Battalion.
Image
I'd posted a picture before, but now they are based up and finished, good and proper.

Next, the 42nd Regiment of Foot, the Black Watch.
Image
And a close up of the kilts.
Image
I'm not sure if those are the correct colours as the box they came in shows a darker scheme for them as well as the one I have used. Either way I'm not going back and doing them again. :D Painting tartan is not for the faint of heart.

Some Royal Artillery to help soften up any of Boney's troops I encounter.
Image
I think the gun carriage is meant to be a greyish blue, but I only found that out after I had finished it. I think the dark red looks fine though.

My Army and Brigade HQ models.

And a final review of the army as a whole with my previously finished 35th Regiment of Foot 'Sussex' at the back.
Image

And that is my entire Napoleonics force for my November game with Ashmie DONE! I already have plans for the second brigade made up of some of the Perry Brothers' dragoons and 95th rifles along with a second battalion of scots, the 92nd Regiment of Foot, 'Gordon Highlanders'. But that is a long way off.

Next up on the painting schedule is a squad of 28mm World War 2 Russians and an Infinity model I am painting up for Miggy Smallz for use in some RPGs. And then its on to the Epic stuff for ToD's Epic Event.

But first, Rome: Total War is calling......

Very nice all round! Nothing like a complete army with coherent basing.

A bit late, but I suppose you knew about the tartan waterslide transfers out there? http://wargametransfers.blogspot.com/20 ... rgame.html
(Tartans are my number one reason for not going with Trollbloods for Hordes, heh.)
Feel free to call me Dave!

Yeah, I saw them, but I hate transfers. :D
