Re: Dull Cote for that ugly shininess
ive heard its good stuff, and would be up for getting a can to find out. I'd be willing to go halfers with you on shipping, but we should probly get a can each ,cos just one would be a pain in the arse to swap around. I might get a mini or two, too, depending on my mood. Call me or PM me about it
(or wait till sunday and we can talk then)

Army Painter is a paint company who specialise in spray paints and varnishes for dipping. Theyre basically a speed painting enterprise. Fairly new.
Anyway, they do a matt varnish (like a billion other companies) which has a pretty good reputation (second only to Testor's Dullcote, which you cant get here).
Said matt varnish is available from a website called Full Metal Planet, and Ash wants to know if I wanna do an order with him and thereby enable him to split postage costs. I reckon I do. If you want in, FMP's site is here:
http://fullmetalplanet.biz/shop/army_pa ... inter.html
Note that the paint is OKish priced, but a lot of the minis are typical Japan prices. He also seems to get a lot of his stock from CMoN, and then bump up prices to cover shipping + a bit for his cut. Fair enough for folks who cant use CMoN themselves (i.e. who have no english) but a bit of a waste of time and money for the likes of us. Army Painter is an exception to this, as the prices compare well to overseas prices.
