Can we not just start new teams? It's been a while - dunno if I can find my team list...

Feel free.
But I've invested a LOT of time in the teams I've got and plan to keep using them.

I have put heaps of time in to my teams too ... it is no big deal to start from scratch with a new team and new stats...

My dark elf and lizard teams are relatively green so they could face new teams, but no way am I restarting the Orc or dwarf teams -- they're just coming into their own! ;)

I think the league needs commissioner....

There is a system for dealing with unbalanced teams, just use that. Or foul the crap out of the best player on the pitch, that works too :-)

I agree. I think it would be good to have one or two people make executive decisions after some discussion on this forum. We had Mordheim league that was overseen by a small group of leaders that could make rule adjustments after everyone discussed them. (whoa it takes lots of energy to post by iPhone).

League

Post by Grim Ironjaw » Thu Nov 10, 2011 11:49 am

I guess it depends on what you want for the league.
If you want something similar to what we used to have on Fumbbl (the online Blood Bowl site), then there's a lot that needs to be decided.

For the moment, it's probably just best to keep it freeform while new players feel the game out and decide what style of team they'd like to play.

Things worth deciding now though are what house rules (if any) to use for SPP points.
An old house rule we used was to award 1 SPP for a knock-out.

I'd say 1spp for a KO is good. Other than that, I wouldnt worry too much about fiddling with rules n things. I get enough "moar win!" from 40k, so I'd prefer to keep my BB games chilled out and, preferably, inebriated.

BloodBowl without beer just simply isn't BloodBowl.
