Re: Arts reform club. Ash's house. Jan.

Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

Not like we need any new events but I thought for December Tsu games I'd change the day slightly. How about having a painting day. I have the entire contents of Dreadfleet to be getting on with. Either bring your own models to paint or help me with some of the ships.
Why not paint at home and chat online you ask? Because it's good to meet face to face and not have to put smileys in all the time. :)
It will be a good chance to get together to shoot the shit as is were, hang out, reflect on past games and plan future ones. We might even be able to think of a group painting project to be getting on with for next year. I'll hold a regular gaming and rpg event later in the Christmas holidays so this one will be just for painting, listening to music (bring cd's, mp3 etc) and swapping battle stories.
If there is interest I guess at least 4 people would make it worth while it will be held on December 4th from 10 until 6. No fee. :o

Please sign up here if this is something you would like to do. :ugeek:

Updated: We have 4 so far that's a good start.

It sounds like a good idea and I'd like to take part.
Sadly I can only game/go out for hobby stuff 1 day a week and that week ToD's epic event is on the saturday, the next week I'm DMing a game of Dark Heresy and the week after will be Joshin.
So it looks like I wont be making it.

It is a good idea though, so I hope you can get some support for it.

We haven't met in person yet but I'd like to go. I have a pile of stuff to paint over the next few weeks and could probably use advice here and there from seasoned modellers.

I hope to be there, wierdy schedule changes permitting. I'll bring along whatever I'm painting at the time. I have a whole bunch of different paints/pigments/brushes etc, which might be interesting for folks who havent had the chance to compare and contrast. e.g. only have GW stuff.

Sorry, Ashmie. I like the idea, but like Prim I'm tied into ToD's event (which is in my neighborhood).

No worries mateys. There is a lot of talk about Blood Bowl lately so we will probably play that in the afternoon if folks want to bring their teams. I was hoping to perhaps continue with whfrp scenario but not sure if Jus and Mus can make it (especially after the swearfest last week not sure if Jus is still talking to me.)
If there isn't and rpg in the afternoon after the painting, I'll bring Space Hulk 1st edition and MIJ if you could bring Blood Bowl that would be fantastic.
Bring newspaper and paint pots and brushes too of course.
So far we have 4 interested. MIJ,Tenorikuma, me and Satarou.
I reckon we can get a few more. Maximum is 10 people to the space.

you can put me down as pretty confirmed. I can bring BB if needed, along with my paints, pots, brushes etc etc. How is the light in that room? It's pretty standard fluorescent, isnt it?

No worries Tregaurd, if you can sneak away form the chores free to drop by for Dreadfleet ship painting or blood bowl in the afternoon.
