Does this mean there's no Flames without Mike? That might be smoke but anyway I was hoping to use it as a good incentive to get my Red Devils based and dipped at least. Anyone dipped 15mm before? Probably would look like swamp monsters wouldn't they. ;)
I was also hoping to play Fow. This was going to be incentive on my part to get my German infantry ready for action.
If you, ashmie ir anybody else, are still up for some WWII action, I'd like to arrange getting 15mm scenery together. BF is selling some great scenery I would like to order. And there is always making scenery like Mike. (some how I'm doubting myself now)

As for dipping my friends did it all the time. They just made sure to use thin resin. Still they used some cheap stuff and got fantastic results. On the other hand I've never bothered (and my models look the worse for it :( ).

Well, if Ash can bring his pesky prussians along I will be happy to run you through a demo game of BP (napoleonic era). You can use my brave brits and I will umpire the game. This offer is open to anyone else with an interest in Black Powder as well.

@Ash and Job - If you need FoW terrain, dont worry, I will have some that you can use. So get your Paras or Heer finished up and looking all pretty for the tabletop.

Ok that would be great if we could play FOW in the Saturday morning and Cutlass and Blood bowl in the afternoon. I'd be up for playing Black Powder with Prim as umpire against Admiral for sure. If there is time, maybe after tea time? Hardcore day but it must be fun.
That's a lot of painting to be done. Did someone say baby on the way? Better get it all done now while I have time.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Since there has been such a positive response (aside from niggling over the exact details)for the resurgence of Blood Bowl, is there any chance of getting two game boards for this event? I think we can afford to give up a table just for BB.

If folks want a tournament or not, thats up to you to decide, as I will have my hands full with other games. I will try and sneak in a game of BB if I can though.

I'm looking into making an investment into a pitch, so I could offer one.

@Badruck: c'mon man. This is a two day event. Can we have a moment we are not playing BB?

@ashmie: Fow sat. Morning? Brit paras vs. German gebrigsjager? I can bring a bunch of Sherman's to support your paras.

I look forward to spectating BP., too.

@ JOB: I am fine play what ever you like but I do not have a FOW army and unfortunately I will not be getting one any time soon :( I have to draw a line some where and I guess it is heroic 28 scale... anything else just will not do... :? I may be tempted back in to War Machine of hordes at some point but at the moment I just cant see that happening so that leave me with the GW line and Cutlass.

I am fine with that. the odd board game will be fun but I cant get into anything at the moment..

I would like to see this just be a friendly bunch of pick up games for BB really... if there is a Tournament I hope it is run on Saturday because I will not be able to make it to much of anything on Sunday..

I've just discovered that I will be working all day on Saturday the 7th. You'd think a weekend once in a while wouldnt be too much to ask. Not gonna start ranting here, but to summarise: I am pissed off.

will be there on Sunday tho.

If you want to play, I've got several. So you can play also.

I'll be also bringing my Cutlass band, so we can bash each other one way or another.
