December JTRPG Day

Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

What day would be best for the next J TRPG Day?

December JTRPG Day

Post by ennui » Fri Nov 04, 2011 3:37 pm

So this month's JTRPG Day kind of fell apart; I was trying to accommodate everyone and the weeks sort of crept up on me, and before I knew it, it's just too late to realistically gather enough people with interest.

That being said, Let's try getting next month's game day set up right now! I'll set up a poll--if you are interested in participating, vote for a day that you are available and are willing to set aside. The first day that gets 3 players that can commit will become the next game day.

If we can get enough players, I'd like to do a sort of event with prizes and special games! We could do a Christmas/Holiday themed game and whatnot.

I hope there's enough interest to do this event one more time. We had a really awesome time the first couple times, but it's been tough getting it off the ground again...

I'm doing a painting hobby day on the 4th at Centre Palace. You are welcome to have it here. Feel free to turn up with whatever games you would like to run. Of course you probably want to get it set up in Nagoya at your place as a regular thing. I'm just saying we have the space if you want it. Also my wife is pregnant and I have to be close by.
Satarou and Leslie live locally so I know they may well be interested. I know you might feel it's a bit far to come down so soon again but it would be awesome if you did. It's free this time for entry. :)
Trying to get a kind of arts social club going each month where we can either play games or plan projects to work on. Film, art, music, philosophy or politics anything is ok.
Come along if you can. I'd be free in the afternoon to try a JRPG. http://artsreformclubtsu.tumblr.com/

I might be able to play on the 3rd, 4th, or 10th, but I can't guarantee it yet... The holidays would be best for me, maybe between the 27th and the 29th or so.

I think that I'm going to set the date for the 11th.

If you're interested, let me know! 8-)

I am not too keen for JTRPGs but I would like to play an RPG is that the same thing?

if we play one a week day in January 2nd-4th it might be good for me.

Sadly I am all booked up for December.

JTRPG is Japanese (something?) RPG. I have no idea if folks actually play in Japanese, or if the rulebook is in Japanese, or if theyre simply RPGs made by Japanese folks, or what.

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

JTRPG = Japanese Tabletop RPG. JTRPG Day is a chance to play one of these games, translated for english-speaking players. So far we've played Shinobigami, Yuyake Koyake, and Ryuutama. Ennui and ToD have both GMed.

Sounds cool, I'm busy with fantasy roleplay that day sorry. Hopefully next time. Or feel free to game at Centre Palace this Sunday as I mentioned before. :)
