I'll concede there is a certain appeal to the terminator. However, they work well as an elite, super scary unit. If your whole army is made of em, they kinda lose their shine. I suppose thats where the dreadknight comes in. MOAR ARMOR!

I guess I'll see how super scary 30 of them are in May at Nagoyahammer :D (or sooner if I manage to make it out to someplace with other players).

I got 2 squads of them painted... working on the "command" squad now. Last thing I have to assemble is a LRC, then my army is done. At least until I get back to America... then I might want some bikes, some Greenwing, some vindicators...The list is endless.

An entire army of them is cool in itself.

The last time I played 40K, I fielded 2,000 points of Space Wolf terminators, led by Logan Grimnar and Njel Stormcaller. Since I don't have any Land Raiders, the entire army marched forward, shrugging off Pulse Rifle fire and Kroot ambushes like summer rain, mowing down Fire Warriors with storm bolter and assault cannon fire.

Admittedly I lost in the end (by a narrow margin), but the image was quite impressive.

Anyway, just this morning, I've finished painting my first Zoat, and a little Hunter-Slayer to be his friend:

It does beg the question "why were they shooting your termis with pulse rifles/assaulting them with kroot?"

plasma guns woulda sorted em right out...

ps - nice old school nidtastic fun. Suits you, sir! Ooh! :D

Perhaps his firewarriors and kroot didnt have plasma guns? Not everyone tailors a list as much as you do.

first thing I would do when writing a Tau list would be to take all my fire warriors, kroot, and the Tau codex, put them in the cupboard for later, and then get out my eldar codex and start building a proper list

*gomen, that was far too cocky*

but seriously, regardless of who I was playing I would fill up on plasma guns if I had tau, cos theres very little they dont work on, whereas pulse rifles are a bit poo. Theres a reason I had 10 battlesuits in my tau army, yknow. Not that anybody ever saw em in action, mind you...

as for what I did today:

early/late afternoon: the school pageant (christmas stuff.)
evening: dinner with the missus
late evening: played the PS3. Damn you Justin and your evil Skyrim! It's all part of your dastardly plot to stop me painting forever, innit?

That said, Jus has been pretty quiet of late. My Final Fantasy counter-ploy seems to be working  mwuahahahahah

So, how do you find it, painting under the influence of LSD? :D

Looking good - is he the only one?
