Thanks to Jus for helping me muddle through my second Warhammer Fantasy game. I guarantee your general won't be so invincible next time!

Re: Nagoya Games Day - Sunday 18th December
Thanks Eric for the fun Strange Aeons games. Marcus Cobb and Belephon the martial artist showed their incompetency and cowardice, but the Colonel Professor and his faithful bartender saved the day again (and again).
We need to have a painting day soon so I can get these minis I just got painted and into a playable state so we can play Super Dungeon Explore. There are like 55 minis in this game! It's crazy.

Primarch, thanks for giving me my first experience against the Butcher. He lived up to his name! Wish I could have stayed longer but anyway had to rush back for RPGs at my place, so still had a good long day of gaming!

The trick when dealing with the butcher is:
1) turn invisible
2) run away
3) shoot bolts of evil lightning at him until he dies.
what? It worked for me and the witch coven...

Sounds like a good strategy, although #1 and #3 are not really an option for me...me_in_japan wrote:The trick when dealing with the butcher is:

I did try #2 for a while though!

That was fun. I was doing so well that first game, but I guess double barrelled shotguns trump zombies. Darn it.ennui wrote:Thanks Eric for the fun Strange Aeons games. And thanks for lending me the rulebooks. Strange Aeons seems like a fun little game. Plays quick, don't need a lot of space or figs and gives you an excuse to use those oddball figures in your collection that don't really fit in anywhere else.
And we definitely need to get that hobby night in.

I've played a fun Apocalypse game with Yu-san.
Thanks to every one for sparing us another table, and especially to Prim for giving us a box of terrains!

Who won? Did that giant tank with two Hydra Flak guns in the back shoot down the Eldar air force?asch wrote:I've played a fun Apocalypse game with Yu-san.

Speaking of hobby night, when are you free? My vacation is 12/29-1/4, and I've got 12/23 free during the day.Konrad wrote:That was fun.
