plasma guns woulda sorted em right out...
As it was, we both had a very fun game. tweaking the armies to be "optimum" wouldn't have made the game any better. In fact, it would have likely made things worse, since both armies were pretty well built in accordance with the background.

That sounds like a great way to play a game.

Last night I spent several hours reorganising all of the boxes in my room as I have too many boxes of random minis. I am not done yet, but the goal is to have all of any given type of mini in the same box.

@Mus :Cool mini. Like the old school paint work on him as well. Good work.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Yes, especially since the Tau won! It's nice to have a happy ending :)

Got most of the super dungeon explore minis put together (55 or so!) and green-stuffed yesterday. There's a certain model (6 kobolds with swords) that need to have their heads painted before they are glued on due to the figures' positioning, but I think I'll have the lot of them primed by tonight or tomorrow.

Woah. I am the walrus.
I think he needs another color or two. Pick out the teeth, those icky tubes on his backpack and the like.

Well today, I nearly had a heart attack after being blindsided by this wee announcement from Battlefront the producers of Flames of War...

In other geek activity news, I finished up a squad of Dark Eldar Trueborn, undercoated their Venom transport, painted some Valhallans, finished half a platoon of Free French for FOW, prepped and based some reinforcements for my Malifaux gang and finished up some 40K terrain. Not a bad effort, I must say.
