Seem to remember me kicking his Soul Grinder led daemons back into the warp with nothing but a few laser pointers and sharpened bayonets.

lets just say I have grown up a bit... I now like Theme armies more than killer armies.. I will say this my land raider list has never won and Commander Culln has only lived in a few games... as for the Soul Grinders they are fun for me

I'm now playing.....

Imperial Guard(As Inquisitorial Detachment + Radical Inquisitor)
Dark Angels(Fallen Themed.)

Both are good army.
I love chimeras. I love to see them blow things up and blown up then through well armed veterans from inside(if survived tho)

Sounds like this Thread is dead... Shokk shokk beep beep beep its a live again...

I am keen to see what army your Friend starts playing... My wife likes Necrons and they are really fun...

All armies can be fun but it is up to the players to make it fun for I think you are in a good group here in Nagoya if you want to win and beat people in tournaments you are in the wrong country ...the only Tournaments here are little ones that we run our selves.. with the intro. of this sight we should be able to make a few more Tournaments a year.. but I am betting that the fun games will take charge from here on out.. I know I have been a bit of a "Power Gamer" in the past but like I said I have grown up a little since then.. I do not keep track of wins and losses and I leaning more in to theme armies. and Campaigns.. i think they are the real fun.

Actually it looks like Tanya (who borrowed my Ravenguard for Nagoyahammer) will be taking up some smaller skirmish games instead because she's not so keen on painting. Ennui seems to have talked her into looking at Warmachine.

I've thought about Blood Bowl, myself. I played it once, back in New Jersey -shudder-. Or Lord of the Rings.

I used to have a Tau army, as I've told Stu, but I melted them into the concrete. I've always been interested in them from a visual standpoint, but I think I like the Tyrannids for their looks and playstyle.

The only good Tau is a melted into a small blob Tau!! It's what I've been saying all along.

Warmachine has nice minis but 40k gets more play... and I guess the big problem is we keep making making 40K bigger and bigger... I am looking forward to some more Combat Patrol.. and the like... 40K is more fun in those games plus My Tau seem to fight better at small points....
