Arigatai meiwaku

Post by The Other Dave » Sun Jan 22, 2012 9:33 am

So my Zuzzy order finally arrived today, about 3 months after I ordered it. Turned out there was a mix-up and they had it marked as shipped while it sat in inventory or whatever. No biggie.

They gave me a 2' x 2' mat and a 2' x 3' mat for free as compensation. Unfortunately, those are a couple of not-very-useful mat sizes, heh. I'm not sure I could even e-bay them. (Although I'm going to try, of course, heh.)

The mat's nice, though! Next project is to get it painted up.

2' x 3' mat
Could this be converted into a BB pitch?

2x3 is perfect for Strange Aeons! What sort of mat is it?

The 2 x 3 is "scourged forest," and the 2 x 2 is "flagstone paven." Ironically for BB, the 2 x 2 is a gridded-out pattern, but the sheet ends up being only about 19 squares on a side, not long enough for a BB pitch.

If anyone's interested, let me know. Say, 1000 yen for either one? If anyone's scandalized on account of I got them for free, figure that I'll be bringing my 6 x 4 mat to game days from here on in (after I get it painted up, anyhoo), so hopefully it balances out. :D

I am definitely interested in the 2x3 mat. I am also somewhat interested in the 2x2 mat for reasons of Exploring Super Dungeons... but I'll leave that for someone else to pick up if they're interested.

I'd be interested in the 2x2 square for BB, Warhammer and FOW. I can offer Yen or trade.

Hmm. Good question.. I won't be around next weekend, but there was talk of a Mondo night the next week? If you're in Nagoya I can go pick it up after work one of these days if that works for you.
