Inquisition Updates

Post by Primarch » Wed Jun 23, 2010 10:50 pm

The Daemon Hunters and Witch Hunters codexes have been put up on GW's website.
Not much in the way of changes, EXCEPT no more allies. No inducted guard, no marines, no Leman Russ tanks. Likewise, no adding Grey Knights or Sisters to your IG or marines.

You'll need to sign up/sign into the GW website to download these.

I reckon a fair few players will be put out by that as from what I've read, the inducted units are quite a big help.

Certainly since the new IG came out, the inducted units have been very good. John runs a pure GK force so he shouldnt be too bothered, but I know Ikeda san has a mixed force. Personally since the dex is essentially the same book I wouldnt stop anyone who wanted to use them.
The biggest change will be for all the IG players who used Inquisitors with retinues in all their tournament builds. The loss of the Ld10, infinite range psychic hood and free shots at deep striking units will be a bit of a blow.
