Gamma World? Like, for reals, face to face.
*emerges blinking from the dark Spaces Outside the Forum*
So yeah, long time no see, folks!
Here's the thing: It seems that my desire to wargame is at an ebb, as they do from time to time. But I do want to get some gaming in (and get out of the house and hang out with people), and Ash's latest Mie RPG day got me bit with the role-playing bug, so! Here's an idea.
Does anyone want to play some Gamma World? Say, once a month or so, just some low-key post-apocalyptic blowing-up-mutants fun. If 3 to 5 of you all are interested, we could try to get something rolling.
Since school has started up again, Friday nights at Mondo are probably out for me, so I'd want to find some cheap venue one weekend day a month or something - there's a community center near where I live, for example, with rooms for less than a thousand yen the day.

Does GammaWorld have any connection to Gammarauders?

Whilst that looks like an awesome game in and of itself, I believe that it is unrelated to Gamma World.Spevna wrote:Does GammaWorld have any connection to Gammarauders?

Gotcha. If anyone is interested in Gammarauders, the Spevna has a complete first ed.

Gammarauders does look pretty awesome, but Primarch has the right of it.
Specifically, I'm talking about the latest edition of Gamma World, the one based on D&D 4e. 'S good schtuff.

I'd like to give it a whirl, IF I can get there (wherever there is...). I've played just the one time, and really enjoyed it, despite the TPK

The "where" is flexible, especially if a bunch of out-of-towners express interest, but the place I know is right on the meijo line in Nagoya, so pretty convenient to public transport.Moyashimaru wrote:I'd like to give it a whirl, IF I can get there (wherever there is...). Once my wife has a baby she will stop working and I will be off every Saturday so if you start a regular RPG day in Nagoya on Saturdays I am in like flin. I love gamma world it's possibly the best RPG I have ever played.
