I just asked nicely. She says it's impossible to say no to me when I ask to go gaming, which sounds all well and good, but it tends to bite me in the ass later if I game too much. She gets tetchy, and it just ain't worth it. I have to self-regulate most of the time. At least if I ask I can later say "well, I did ask and u said ok"

It is with great regret that I announce my withdrawal from the July 1st Bourbon Brawl. I would love to come, but I have to give myself to another. I was hoping to come to the event and then move on later meet my ojisan pal up in Fukui on the same day, but he is expecting me to come earlier so that he can get his drink on and see his long lost chum (ie, me). He's been a great support during my time in Japan, so I don't want to let him down and unfortunately I can't do both. I therefore pass the torch and offer my seat up to younger, hungrier men than myself.
