Post by AndrewGPaul » Sat Jun 23, 2012 9:13 pm

I thought perhaps there might be some interest in the limited edition / staff only items. If anyone's sufficiently interested, you can join the Facebook G3 Gamers group, or I can pass on any requests.

Obviously, it's in Scotland, which might not be the most convenient location to post stuff to Japan from, but still ...

How much for the 54mm wood elf? I'm very interested in that. I'll be in Scotland myself from the 24th July to the 20th August, so money can be paid in regular cash type style. Likewise, I can courier stuff back for folks as want it. You can pay me in yen, I can pay the dude in pounds. Everyone's a winner :) (as for exchange rates, meh, we can work something out. There'll be no profiteering involved, I can promise you that.)

*edit* I dunno if he is, but if he'd prefer trade I can offer an eldar bonesinger (assembled, primed black, minor repair work done to that bloody bone harp in his hand, photos available if he wants em) and a rackham Dirz Biopsist 1 (which I was hunting for ages, and then ended up with 2 of. This is painted, but in a very light manner. Could be stripped or just painted over. Again, photos available if he wants em.) I appreciate that he's probably after cash, which is fine by me, too. Just thought I'd throw the trade option out there. :)

Pretty sure he's after cash - the wording of his original post is "Hi guys, due to unforseen circumstances I am having to sell almost all of my wargames stuff ..."

I've forwarded your requests, although the GD Wolf Priest might already be spoken for.

£10 for the Wolf Priest, £20 for the 54mm models and you can't have the catachans because I bagged the first, sorry.

Google reckons £10.00 = ¥1250 or so at the moment.

Fair enough, I don't really need them. I am halfway through painting my own catachan army and I have found the metal Catachans to be quite fun to paint. Have fun with them.

£10 for the Wolf Priest
That's a pretty good bargain. Sold! :)

I can either pay him by Paypal, or give MIJ cash to take over when he visits Scotland.

20quid for the giant wood elf - done :)

Please pass on to yer man that I think ee's a gent, and will get the money to him (from both me and Tenbear) when I'm over in Scotland. By the way, I'm quite keen to go to Claymore this year, if you're still going. I could use a bit o geekery while I'm over, and there's hee haw in the way of such conventions here. (well, miniature based ones, anyway. No shortage of geek conventions, mind you...)

I'd consider paying a tenner for one of those games 2007 day orks, if he's still wanting rid of it. Thats the one with his arms folded with an equally pugnacious grot in front of him, isnt it?

*edit* of course, if he's asking a fiver for it or something equally mental, you dont, strictly speaking, neeeeed to tell him I'd pay a tenner... :?

I've passed on the message. As for money, I'll pay him, and you can pay me when you get to Scotland.

As for Claymore, I will indeed be going - my club is putting on a participation game - so you're welcome to come along.
