Friends, Romans, Redcoats???

Post by Primarch » Tue Jul 17, 2012 2:09 am

Over the past month or so I have been getting a small fraction of my massive backlog of models painted up and have been working primarily on some of my historical minis.

First up, a cohort of Roman Legionnaires.

Next a unit from the 24th Warwickshire regiment for the Anglo-Zulu War.

And finally a small unit of skirmishers from the 24th.

None of them are going to win any awards, but I am happy with them. :D

See their warrior pennants streaming, To this battlefield ..."

Very very good. You have improved your painting so much in the last two years or so. Cabinet standard, painting comp entry level definitely, you're getting better and better. Long live 28mm. Wish I could paint that neatly. I like the shading on the Brits hats. The Romans look brilliant, terrifying. Good work on their eyes and faces too. :D
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
