I have some woods (or something that can be a 'counts as') for most of my tables, but if you want to bring a couple of extra pieces along, that will certainly help out.Tenorikuma wrote:As Stuart is supplying the terrain for Orc-tober Fest, I have a request (not a demand):
Since terrain types are quite important to Wood Elves, I would like to see multiple woods on every table, and ideally some marshland as well. I could probably make a small number of pieces if necessary.

Just curious Ten, but I thought we lost all our advantages with woods when 8th came out? Well, we do have one or two tricks still in the bag I supposeTenorikuma wrote:As Stuart is supplying the terrain for Orc-tober Fest, I have a request (not a demand):

What with lots of skirmishers, spirits that are stubborn in woods, cavalry that move through woods unimpeded, and spells like Treesinging, I'd say woods are still extremely valuable tactically — even if I'm still figuring out how to put them to use properly.kojibear wrote:Just curious Ten, but I thought we lost all our advantages with woods when 8th came out? Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

My wife has written me the riot act on gaming as a father. Seeing as Ive already broken my staple of once a month I'll be there just for the Sunday to play fantasy battle against Lovejoys Empire. Hopefully we can get a table from the morning.

@ Ashmie - Nevermind mate. There will be other days.
@ Mordheim players - I am thinking of 3 scenarios to choose from in the game I play in. Feel free to veto and suggest another one, though. Which one sounds the best to you guys?
#1 The night of the dead - Some of you have played this one, but I haven't. It looks like fun. It can be found here; http://www.mordheimer.com/scenarios/081 ... e_dead.htm
#2 The Wizards Mansion - One I have played and got spanked as I was in the middle. It can be found here; http://www.scribd.com/doc/6696242/Chaos-on-the-Streets
#3 My own scenario - Essentially, it is a multiplayer game with one warpstone for each gang that is placed around the board. This warpstone, when picked up, gives it the wielder the power to bring statues to life. The statues will be a variety of beasts. The wielder can not drop the warpstone until killed. The stone gives the wielder the power to move the corresponding monster for D6 turns. After which, it will break free of it's master's control and attack the closest target on a 1 or a 2.
Anyone else have any ideas?

There is now a small chance I may have to work tomorrow - I honestly may not know until tomorrow morning. I'll post and let you know, but at this stage odds are I am good to play.
So many games, so little time....

I was talking to Ikeda-san today and he said he may bring along a little something for the winner of the tournament.
