Nice! At first glance I totally thought it was one of those fancy-pants high-gloss metallic paints.

There will be a painting contest, just dont go spitting your dummy out if it turns out you jumped the gun on choosing your entry.

At first glance I was, "Is that bare metal?" At second I was, hey it's non metalic metalic...with metalics! Yeah! Excellent gradation with the airbrushing. That must have been some fiddly work, spraying something that small.

@konrad - masking tape hides a multitude of technical incompetencies :)

Today I did a little painting, but nowt major. I base coated her hair the same color as the lion, shaded it and highlighted it the same as the lion, and did the wee leaves. Not sure if I like it or not. Will post pics tomorrow cos it's late and I'm up early tomorrow. :)

Managed to resist playing Mass Effect for two days in a row. Hooray me! :D

Put the first paint on my Scythes. Trying to find that balance between nice poppy highlights and washed-out gray when painting black. May take some fiddling, but then I have more tactical marines than I need, so there's space for practice.

Edit: Also, transfer softener is a lifesaver.

Edit: Also, Averland Sunset. It's my first time using Citadel's base paints, and they are a thing of beauty.

Today I painted and flocked a proper forest to go with my Wood Elves (the free one we get) and decided to streamline things for tomorrow by making my own spell decks for the two lores I'll be using. I still have a lot of painting I was hoping to get to but haven't yet.
