Re: Warmahordes Campaign
It sounds fun too - would it be a kind of "play when you have time" thing, or would there be scheduled days for it?
Danguinius tried to set up a kind of Warmahordes tournament on the 2nd day of Nagoyahammer last year -there were only 4 people but hopefully more will join next year - maybe you could incorporate your campaign into that?

@ Underdweller - Yep. It would be a play when you can thing. I was also thinking of some sort of finale at NagoyaHammer would be cool.
I will set up the map and rules and start it up Mid November.

Re: final at Naghammer - all fine and good, but would folks who can't play regularly (ie me) who want to play at Naghammer (ie me) be able to join for the finals only, or would they (ie I) be left out in the cold while everyone else "gets in their tourney game"?

To be honest, I don't know how this will all turn out. Cryx may be conquered by then...me_in_japan wrote:Re: final at Naghammer - all fine and good, but would folks who can't play regularly (ie me) who want to play at Naghammer (ie me) be able to join for the finals only, or would they (ie I) be left out in the cold while everyone else "gets in their tourney game"?

But I am planning to make it possible for anyone who came to NagHammer to join in the final. Basically it will be set up as factions, not individual players so to answer your question. Yes.

Hmmm.... Might want to see who all can join and what all armies are on the field. Can we play as more than one faction or just have to stick with one?

As many points as you like. I will only be interested in what factions played, who won and where on the map they fought.Colonel Voss wrote:and how many points are we talking about per game?

I don't mind if you play with more than one faction. Especially if it makes it easier for people to get a game in.Colonel Voss wrote:Hmmm.... Might want to see who all can join and what all armies are on the field. Can we play as more than one faction or just have to stick with one?

Re: Warmahordes Campaign
You know I`m down. Of course, all of my opponents are spread out around Hiroshima (and I`m meeting a new group over in Shimane next month), but almost every faction is represented. If there is already a Cygnar rep, I may switch over to Trollbloods (which are like 70% painted....should be able to field fully-painted forces by the end of December).
Yeah, I wanted to know about point levels. We`ve been playing at 42 points (the sweet spot that balances Hordes and WarMachine, in my opinion).
Also, to keep a narrative them, are we using just one warcaster/warlock? Or, one list? Or, is it anything goes with any caster, any point size, any army list?
I`d love to incorporate this into a 2nd day of Nagoyahammer WM tourney. Perhaps this would get more people to play on the 2nd day. Of course, we would do it in a way where it wouldn`t interfere with the 1st day 40K tourney/games.

@ Dan: Great stuff!
@ All: I have just typed up a draft copy of the rules in a new thread. If you are interested, take a look. This thing should get started some time in November. Looking forward to it!
